Pokémon is something that my entire family enjoys. We watch all the cartoons that pop up on Netflix with our favorite being Journeys, but also content that pops up on YouTube.
There's just so much happening when it comes to Pokémon. There's gaming, trading cards, collecting, comics, anime, and so much other fun stuff.
I want to share some of the Pokémon trainers we follow as well as my personal favorites.
If you're one of the content creators listed here and you're seeing this, I wanted to say thank you for creating great content for my family to enjoy.
Frosted Caribou
Bou creates a lot of content around the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and it's not just pack and box openings. She plays the game and competes in tournaments.
What I really enjoy about her channel is the amount of post-production work she puts into each of her videos. Her videos are incredibly polished, look and sound great, and are often very funny. I get a kick out of them with the family.
If you're interested in playing the Pokémon TCG, check out Frosted Caribou and give her channel a follow.
Omaash
Alex is pretty much the king when it comes to graded Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Dragon Ball Z trading cards. He is a middleman service for collectors that don't want to work directly with CGC, PSA, and Beckett. When the cards come back from grading, Alex reveals them on his channel before sending them back to the original owner.
We like the Omaash channel because Alex is just a regular dude showing off some awesome cards. It gives us ideas as to what things grade as and some of the awesome cards that have appeared over the years.
If you're looking for a middleman service or are interested in checking out graded cards, check out Omaash and give his channel a follow.
RealBreakingNate
Nate is probably one of the most famous and recognizable Pokémon influencers on the internet right now. He has been throwing Pokémon videos up on YouTube for a very long time and expresses an extremely positive attitude.
We like RealBreakingNate for a few reasons, one of which includes the positivity factor, but also because he is a regular Pokémon collector. He is not a distributor, has no real connection to getting guaranteed product, and has to go hunting just like the rest of us.
If you're into Pokémon cards and want constant tips and trips for finding or buying them, check out RealBreakingNate and give his channel a follow.
DavidParodyPlays
David, Robert, Bobby Lee, whatever his name is, creates some very entertaining videos. However, it is probably the only NSFW Pokémon channel that we watch due to language and questionable themes, but it's entertaining and probably my favorite on the list.
If you want absolute Pokémon TCG shenanigans and are not too concerned with the NSFW themes, check out DavidParodyPlays and give his channel a follow. I don't know his real name because he uses so many aliases on the channel.
Conclusion
A lot of content creators have popped up to cash in on the Pokémon craze in the past year or so. We follow quite a few in our household, but the few that I've listed above have been our favorites in 2021.
As far as my personal favorites go, I'm a big fan of Frosted Caribou and DavidParodyPlays because of the quality of the content and the entertainment factor. At the end of the day it is probably preference, but check them out if you're curious.
